Johan Berthling/Fredrik Ljungkvist/Sten Sandell
A summit meeting of three of Sweden’s top jazz musicians and improvisers! The very creative bassist Johan Berthling plays with the Sten Sandell Trio, David Stackenäs, Raymond Strid, Paal Nilssen-Love, and others. The outstanding saxophonist Fredrik Ljungkvist leads his group Yun Kan 5 at this year’s Festival, and also appears with François Houle’s Tentet. Pianist/vocalist Sten Sandell is well known for his work with Mats Gustafsson and Raymod Strid in Gush, and performs this year with his wonderful trio. Thanks to Riksconcerter Sweden.
