In 1960, a fourth member was added to the group (The Valentines). Her name was Nancy Davis. Nancy also recorded "The Sock" and "16 Senioritas" along with Irene, Miki and Joy. Irene (who was Les Vogt's wife at the time) was pregnant and left shortly after the songs were recorded. She did not return. Nancy continued on with Joy and Miki to do live performances, were included in the Grey Cup Parade, did radio promos with the success of the record and stayed with the group until it broke up in 1962. We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
