Career singing jingles for commercials, worked as a musician in the Yorkville club circuit in Toronto (1965-85); co-founded prominent Canadian band, Jackson Hawke (1976-78) with Bob Yeomans; Recordings: "You Can't Dance" (1976) the single later became an international hit when released in 1978 by England Dan and John Ford Coley. The song was also covered and released as a successful single by Ricky Nelson; "Forever" (1976-CBS), "Jackson Hawke" (1977-CBS); managed by noted Canadian manager, promoter and record producer Bernie Finkelstein.
