A small town girl with a big town passion for writing and performing her own original songs. Born and raised in the small Northern Ontario Canadian town of Sault Ste Marie. She is a soulful vocalist, lyricist, rhythm guitarist.
Her earliest musical influences came from her Grandpa Jule as he listened to the classics such as Hank Williams Sr, Ferlin Huskey and many more. " I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by the great Hank Sr was the first song that Lorrie learned how to play, however it did not stop there as her aunties, uncles and parents sprinkled her with good old rock and roll, folk and blues.
Lorrie says, "music needs soul", and she portrays this in her soulful presentation of everything she writes and performs.
For the past several years she has frontlined a local band called "Obsession" pouring her heart and soul into every gig. Now she has ventured off into pursuing her own goals and dreams of becoming a solo artist. Having just recently finished recording her debut cd titled: Lorrie Lynn Bolduc - High Road. 8 songs produced by High Demand Studios in Nashville Tn and 2 others being engineered by Doo White of The Glass Poets in Sacramento Ca.
Lorrie's own words sums it all up, " I have songs in me, I need to keep writing or I feel I will explode. I hope I keep writing and performing as long as anyone will listen. Smiling, happy and moving forward. Vring on the music."
