Natives to Canadian soil & residents of the road. Aztec is truly a loud rock independent band consisting of loud guitars, heavy handed drums, distinctive vocals, swooning harmonies and songs that are swift and to the point.
They deliver an emotionally fuelled, high energy, leave it on the stage style performance, with a sound that is quite uncommon in Canada and more fitting with a lot of indie bands hailing from the South.

In one moment Aztec takes you through story's of success and stride accompanied by the distinctive resonance of Kyle's vocals and steady hammer of the drums. Then in the next moment, backed by their explosive over driven choruses and hooks they are bellowing tales of loss, fighting with life decisions and dealing with the life style that goes with being in a touring band.

They have just finished work with Nathan Hussey (All Get Out) on their new EP ‘Stitches’ that released July 11/2014. The 2014/2015 year is set to be a big one for Aztec with extensive touring in both Canada and the U.S.
