Simon Angus- Multi-instrumentalist was born in Wales into a musical family his father spent a career playing Bass and Organs for the likes of Roger Whitacker.Simon started formal music training at the piano as of the age 4 1/2 and began to play the guitar at 8.His first recording was for a film production in Oakville Ontario during his 8th grade.The family moved to southern USA in 1977 and Simon's first paying gig was at "Harbour Lights" Oyster bar on Siesta Key Florida in 1981 and he still hasn't stopped writing and performing.His first band was formed in 1982 in New Orleans Louisiana "Kystal Haze" playing the world famous "Papa John's Original Music Bar" as the house band mostly doing harder classic rock when we split he went back to Houston Tx w/ family their and 1980's spent in Housten Tx .I was Frontman for "Ichabod Krane" and played the club circuit around Texas...at a open mic night in Houston 1993 Malcolm Young became my agent put my into HOT DOG Studios and I began the first recordings for the Album.I play all my own guitar works as well as bass/keyboards lead vocals and some aux percussion.I set out to make a accoustic rock new age/worldbeat no digital sampling/loops/ and hired Global Village" 4 pc horn section and we cut "Go with the flow" and "Make believe" my agent sent me to LA and shopped the 2 song demo till I was signed to my 2nd exclusive contract as a songwriter....and set off to "Joshua Tree" to a magic studio situated next to 29 Palms USMC base. I recorded 14 tracks as of which 10 made it to the album now known and selling on Amazon.com w/out my permission is called "Spirit's"..at the time of my last exclusive recording contact I counted 4 albums more of material ready to start into production and had written a treatment for a Rock Opera that is where my heart is leaning towards incorporating live theatre into my musical vision.I invite you to critic my works they are free for you to listen and share and if you'd like to get involved professionally send me an email.It's a great year to be alive let's just have a little ...12/21/2012..Your Friend and Minstrel Simon Neil Angus Esq. .....Survivor of L.A.
