HEy!
I am a percussionist in Victoria with a passion for afro Cuban, Brazilian, and west African music and rhythm.

Basically I love any percussive music that invokes a collective experience of trance or joy.

I have played drums (including a full Kit) for about 25 years. I am not a technical player (I dont read music), but i have a solid intuitive sense of rhythm and know how to play with others.

I have played in a number of bands, including a samba batucada for 7 years.

I am mostly interested in hand percussion now, but also dabble in DJing techno and house music. I would love to connect with other percussionists for trance inspired drumming sessions. I am interested in hosting bi monthly afro cuban/west African rhythm gatherings with and emphasis on trance. The vision is towards busking and street music, and possible collaboration with dancers
