Rashid

Rashid's original music fuses contemporary classical guitar with different ethnic influences. he is particularly interested in improvised music.

As a performer, Rashid has played professionally in Russia, Europe and North America. Rashid immigrated to Canada in 2000, and has since performed in clubs in New York, Ottawa and Vancouver. He currently lives in Victoria, BC.

Rashid plays acoustic and electric guitar as a soloist and in bands. He has recently produced a CD of his solo acoustic guitar, featuring all-original compositions.
