Experience the rhythms, the warmth, and the thrill of Carnaval in Brazil right here in Seattle. Carnaval is a street celebration, a time when everyone puts on colorful costumes and dances together to the carefully choreographed steps of their "escola de samba" (samba school), or "Trio-Eletrico" (semi-truck plodding through the streets of Salvador with a band playing selection of axé music, pagode, and pop songs).

Become a part of our "escola de samba" or "bloco carnavalesco" (carnaval group)! Find a colorful costume or some feathers to wear and come shake 'em with us!!
