The Drastics are an amazing band to see live! While as a live band they usually count on improvisation to really nail the live experience, this album stands up to their live performance, if not makes it stronger. 

It is with a smile that we close the book on the 14th chapter of the Victoria Ska Festival. This entry is a look back on what made this year so special, and what we hope to build on in the future.

Blackwood Kings are one of the newer bands to emerge from Vancouver Island's ska and reggae scene, but these boys are bringing a whole new groove to the island. Their sound is hard to pin, but something totally all their own. We got a chance to talk wi
