“Feel free to just call me Liam”
Well spoken and insightful, Liam shares his views on involvement in the music scene and the community.
“One of the best parts of life to me is expressing your unique self with others, and music to me, is (should be) one of the most human forms of expression, sharing something that truly comes from your heart with others, and forming connections in a variety of ways.”
At a young age he was inspired to make music by his older brothers who both have a lifelong history of music.
“In a way, I’ve been making music my entire life, but it has become a much bigger & more important part of my life over the past 10 years, helping me get through hard times, and celebrate good ones. Making music will forever be part of my life, and I plan on continuing to learn and grow every step of the way.”
Liam’s work varies from local to international, but today he highlights his favourite pieces he’s done for some Kingston based artists. Working with some of Kingston’s finest, Hartman, Fast-Fast and Cory Ede as examples. Liam continuously shows precision and talent in each of his projects.
“I’d have too hard of a time deciding my biggest influences in art and music, but I've always really connected with Rick Rubin's approach to music & creativity as a whole. I'm currently reading his book - 'The Creative Act: A Way of Being', and would definitely suggest giving it a read.”
A wide range of artistic interests and inspirations have led to Liam’s combination of music and art to collaborate together, pushing the limits on what creative expression can be.
If the shoe fits personally & morally. Liam is currently open selectively for commissions and collaborations, never shy away from reaching out.
