Alain Trudel

In 2006 Trudel was named Principal Conductor of the CBC Radio Orchestra based in Vancouver, the only Radio Orchestra in North America. Together, he and the Orchestra will explore new and exciting artistic territories. In addition, the Manitoba Chamber Orchestra has asked Maestro Trudel to be the Artistic Advisor for the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons.

In August 2006, Trudel was named to be Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Orchestre Symphonique de Laval. After a transitional year in 2006-07 he will conduct his first season with the OSL in 2007-08.

Alain Trudel was unanimously named Conductor of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra in 2004, a position that brings him great pride and joy and in which he will continue until June 2008.
