This song tells the story of climate change hope! It predicts a future in which people and nations cooperate for the common good for our collective survival.

Until the middle of the 21st century climate change dominated the political landscape world wide. Extreme weather disasters occurred as people’s awareness and activism increased. Governments incentivized citizens and industry to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

After decades of effort and sacrifice, “global net zero” was achieved in 2046. As greenhouse gas concentrations levelled out worldwide, scientists discovered that the oceans were a much larger carbon sink that previously thought. Both greenhouse gas levels and average temperatures declined from 2060 onward and the effects of climate change became less severe.
