Event Description

Join Opie Ortiz, the lead singer of Long Beach Dub Allstars. as he discusses the people he's met and influenced through his artwork. As a living legend of the SoCal reggae scene, Ortiz is a tattoo artist and painter by day and musician by night. Notably, he designed the iconic sun on the cover of Sublime's 40oz to Freedom LP and tattooed "SUBLIME" on the back of the late Brad Nowell. Through discussing Ortiz's history of art creation, we can learn about an important part of music history which we are heavily influenced by and that is currently evolving."
