Event Description

The first official performance of "The Evolution of Ska Music Part 1" by the Skaspot Live All Stars.

This concert is a musical travelogue following Jamaican music from the 1950's though the early 80's. Hear the early Ska music that was the theme music of the Jamaican independence movement, learn how Ska branched into Rocksteady and Reggae. See what happened to classic Jamaican music the the UK punks got inspired by the Ska and Reggae beat.....the Clash, Madness, the Specials, Bad Manners and more....

Oh yeah,........this events doubles as the first annual Skaspot Live Network Christmas Party!
