Ron Dewispelaere was born in Ghent Belgium in 1950 and emigrated to Canada with his family in 1957. He resided and was educated in Victoria BC.
His interest in music, particularly the guitar, started at an early age when he found a guitar hanging in the window of an old pawn shop in Toronto. After clearing off dust and changing his first set of string, he launched into a study of the instrument which has never ended.
In 1966 at age 15, he joined his first band and played for a year or so back in Euroe with a group called "The Sailors" as they played in some of the local clubs in the area.
After a year, and back in BC he soon played with other bands and genres experimenting and honing his own style of music. In the seventies, he traveled with rock groups and toured around the country for a year or so, playing R&B and Rock & Roll. Later he returned to Victoria and began playing and composing classical guitar music. He attended the Conservatory of Music in Victoria and gained experience in playing duets and quartets, and improving his ability to translate the music in his head to a piece of paper.
Around 2010 he met Mike Lefebvre and started playing and experimenting with some of the old Jazz standards and Latino music. The two of them launched as a duo which continues to this day.

For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
