I've Played bass for nearly 30 year years now and have been gigging for about 25. I try and concentrate on creating a solid foundation on which other members of an ensemble can build sonic ideas to their fullest potential. Bass as a Base for a pyramid of sound. My influences range: James Brown Funk, Motown, Classic Standard Jazz, Big Band and small ensemble, Sixties Rock, Old and new school hip hop and post rock. I play acoustic and electric basses, and am always into playing with new People and new styles of music.
