About

Irene Poole

Instruments: Ukulele, Vocals, Guitar details
Irene Poole is a singer-songwriter and actor from Banff. She has captivated audiences around the Bow Valley and beyond with her heartfelt lyrics and angelic melodies. Her indie-folk songs often take inspiration from nature, and from songwriting greats like Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. Irene has performed several times at the Canmore Folk Festival and ArtsPlace Canmore; she has played outdoor venues, upscale lounges, coffee shops, and everything in between. Irene's debut album, The Mountains and The Sea, was released in November 2024. The album has charted on CKUA, peaking at #13 on the weekly Top 30.

Irene can also be found singing with The Three Sisters, a new, Bow-Valley-based, harmony trio. The Three Sisters combines the talents of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Heather Jean Jordan, Irene Poole, and Ji Won Baxter.

Through acting, singing, and playing her ukuleles, Irene aims to be a storyteller in everything she does.
