"3D Digital Painter"
Composition is the most important element to me when it comes to creating images. My loudest asset is my imagination and the only medium that can keep up is 3D Digital software. With this medium I can create and deliver highly detailed images relatively fast.
There are two other elements that I pay full attention to as well - Colour and contrast. As with composition, I can make adjustments on the fly, as I go.
I usually start a new image with a basic idea and go from there...Building the plane as I fly it, so to speak.
It is relatively easy to create custom work, or commissions, because alterations can easily be made in accordance with suggestions or requests, even after the work is finished.
There is a variety of 3D Digital software platforms out there. I use E-ON VUE as my main working window for terrain, ecosystem, atmosphere, and object creation/modeling. Smith-Micro Poser is used for character creation and posing. Adobe Photoshop and Maya Sketchbook Pro are used for post production work. The only downside of using the 3D Digital medium is that the render times can be quite lengthy - Days in, fact for large files.
