About

Snake Handshakes

since circa 2000
Snake Handshakes emerged from friendships forged in a local fine arts school. Cutting their teeth on countless shows, the five piece honed their skills and refined their direction. What materialized are some of the most talented players and creative songwriters this area has ever produced.

Snake Handshakes have released three EP’s: Red Room (2002), Dirty Dove (2004) and their current release Welcome To Murderville. The latter two were recorded by famed engineer Mike Fraser (Glassjaw, Vex Red, Blood Brothers…). They have independently sold over 1000 copies of their first two EP’s.
