Dave Your recent show at Pub 340 was kick-off for a UK tour that has been cancelled. What happened? What are your plans in lieu of the tour?

Mongoose Contracts not coming in, crazy promoter who dropped out just when flights were cheap. We were fortunate enough to replace it with a small Ontario tour. We played three shows there beginning Dec 9. Ottawa, St. Catherines and Toronto.

Dave Does it come in handy having one of Vancouver's premier sound guys in your band?

Mongoose No, because he's in the band. Actually yes, Wildkat has made us sound real good in Regina a few times when we showed up and there was no one to work the door or do sound.

Dave You've got a new album. White Plastic Deer was awesome. How does this one feel different?

Mongoose: That one was a drum machine this new one is not. It’s much more of a community effort.
