Artist Call-Out! Submit work to our July show exploring intersectional feminism!

We are taking submissions online until June 18th, midnight. Please do not bring work in person unless we have directed you to do so along with an acceptance email in reply to your submission.

MoCL’s upcoming July group show seeks to support engagement in dialogue exploring intersectional feminism through art. What does feminism mean to individuals through a personal, social, cultural, political and communal lens here on Lekwungen Territory? In plain language: Make some cool feminist art!
✹ Who can submit?
Anyone! This topic has many complexities and areas of focus and we welcome submissions from all members of the art community.
✹ Mediums:
Any medium.
✹ When are submissions due?
June 18th (by midnight). Folks will be contacted regarding whether their work has been selected for the show by June 23rd.
✹ What we’re looking for in your submission:
-Let us know a bit about yourself!
-If you are creating new art for the show, submit your idea + photos of your previous work.
-If you’re submitting work you've already made, submit photos of the work & tell us about your topic + inspiration.
- Ideal size of work: Max. 4ftx4ft. Larger pieces may be accepted. Include size details in your submission.
-Include how the art will be displayed; Does it hang from the ceiling, do you need a plinth or electrical outlet, etc?
