Pascale Goodrich-Black has been singing and writing her whole life. As a teenager she discovered how powerful and cathartic music could be and started singing to pour out all of the emotions and experiences that overwhelmed her.
Having sung gospel and jazz music for years, Pascale is also greatly inspired by roots and bluegrass music. This project pulls its inspiration from such old time instruments as mandolin and banjo and combines them with haunting and powerful vocals and melodic guitar stylings.
Pascale has worked and collaborated with many great musicians over time but working with Joseph Morris, who is producing and co-writing the songs has allowed her to fully express her talent. For the first time the songs truly capture the poignancy and emotion that are the foundation of Pascale's strength as both vocalist and songwriter.
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
