We couldn’t bring one of the most accomplished and recognizable DJs in Canadian history to town and not pick his brain at least a little bit. One of the most interesting artists in the scene, Kid Koala’s empire incorporates comic books, film, puppetry and his latest project, a board game! No matter what Koala is creating, he imbues everything he does with a deep wonder and curiosity about the world that is infectious. He knows how to connect us to parts of ourselves that we may have forgotten as we’ve gotten older. If you’re a fan of music of any kind, a fan of art, or just a fan of silliness and whimsy, don’t miss your chance to get intimate with one of Canada’s great musical treasures as he sits down to drop some of his vast knowledge on us before he lights the Victoria Curling Club on fire later that evening.
