. Friday, May 30th IMU presents SLAM LOTUS CD Release Party w/ The HARVEST, ALLUVIUM & LEVITY BALL @ The Railway Club, 579 Dunsmuir . Show 10pm / $10 cover

Come celebrate with Slam Lotus as they release their self-titled debut CD joined by The Harvest, Alluvium & Levity Ball!

SLAM LOTUS have brought together their diverse backgrounds and influences to deliver a rock solid sound reminiscent of the super groups of the 60s and 70s. Drawing on styles ranging from middle eastern to southern rock, Slam Lotus creates music that you'll want to listen to again and again. http://www.facebook.com/slamlotus

The HARVEST mixes punk ethics, DIY personality and genuine passion for great music in a variety of styles from hard rock to blues and ska. Their influences are wide and varied from the Ramones and Sublime to No Doubt and Motley Crue, alternating elements of soul, rock, reggae, funk and percussive glam. http://www.facebook.com/theharvestrocks
