SUNSET LABS PRESENTS :: GRIME MACHINE v26
our monthly timewarp through dubs, crunk, glitch & bass!!

Ready for more from THE GRIME MACHINE?! In 2012 we carry forward to grimey tradition of this ever-awesome monthly series as we take you on an unpredictable and dark timewarp through bass music - dubstep, glitchhop, dnb, ragga, tech-hop, garage, crunk and all forms of the whomp & wobble! This super sexy low frequency dance infusion will have you a grimey sweaty puddle on the floor when it's through with you. Once you've entered the Grime Machine, there's no telling where we'll end up!! STARRING! (in order of appearance):

D3CIBEL :: Mynti Entertainment, Audio Planet | Victoria
www.Soundcloud.com/D3cibel
[house, electro, fidget]
A committed newcomer to the scene, D3cibel is a DJ/Promoter/Producer who has been rocking our local scene for a year - and has been learning from the influences of the island and sharing his time on the decks with Chemikal, Rudder, Decay, Warhall, The Wobble skankz, Dreadsteppas and others at diffrent venues, Nightclubs & bumping private events. Residing on Vancouver island, if you're lucky you'll be able to check out D3cibel at your local shows or nightclubs - but you'll want to prepare yourself for so much filthy bass you wont make it to the bathroom with clean pants! Things have just been taking off for this enthusiastic beat machine - come hear for yourself and witness the emergence of one of BC's 'Next Big Things!'

ANCHOR HILL :: Returning Saturn, Connecting Circles | Victoria
www.soundcloud.com/anchor-hill
Anchor Hill is the place we all love, the feeling we get when that perfect moment arrives. A vortex of unique home-grown productions along with a killer stack of collected music, this talented and highly creative musician can bring any level of energy to the audience, from ambient and downtempo, jazz, lovestep, and IDM, all the way to some intensely beautiful glitch hop, midtempo breaks and dubstep; and always with a high degree of precision, musicality, and progression. He has played alongside talent such as Mazeguider, Glitchy & Scratchy, Plus 2, Beatfarmer, SobeyOne, and many others. Richard “Skrich” Hartley was raised on Anchor Hill, in the forests of southern Vancouver Island. He still resides just outside of Victoria, BC, and spends much of his time in studio, in a constant evolution of talent and inspiration. Whether it is collecting “elite music,” producing, jamming on the trumpet, or on the decks, Richard always puts every gram of soul into his music. He believes strongly that this incredible fusion -between spiritual and traditional sound and mind-bending glitchy electronica - is a major key to our evolution.
