Thats right the original Stir Fry Crew will be uniting for one night only on Monday December 26th at Legends Nightclub to bring you back their special blend of hip hop, funk, dancehall, breaks and live emceein'.

Stir Fry humbly began by accident at Steamers Pub over eight years ago as a weekly gathering of Hip Hop, Funk, Dancehall, and Breaks turntable mayhem in Victoria, BC. After two years at Steamers the night moved to Lucky Bar, and became the longest running Hip Hop club night in Western Canada EVER. Stir Fry consisted of an ever changing line up or residents including DJs Murge, Verse, Salamander, Wood, and Phlo. As well as Kia Kadiri, Rebbeca Schoichet, and emcees Just B and Demoe One.
Always evolving, Stir Fry became a musical institution, and played host to many guests large, small, and often unannounced such as Moka Only, Rebbeca Schoichet, Intellect, The Half Black Italians, Nelly Furtado, Degree One, Choclair, Sunspot Jonz, Mood Ruff, Zesnomis, The Telepathiks, Sense, Gaff, Surgery, Jewelz, Ishkan, Fourth World Occupants, Able, Wyld, Kirby Dominant, Kia Kadiri, Peanut Butter Wolf, Kutmasta Kurt, Mastermind, Styles Of Beyond, Peanut Butter Wolf, Frek Sho, Sunspot Jonz, Josh Martienez, Sweat Shop Union, Oddities, K OS, DJ Food, DJ Vadim, Killa Kela, Bukue One, First Rate, The Mixologists and many many others. As well Stir Fry has played along side such hip hop giants as De La Soul, Swollen Members, Fat Lip (Pharcyde), Spear Head, The Arsonists, Buck 65, Bullfrog Band, and Living Legends… . The goal of everyone who has been a part of Stir Fry has was to just do what felt right and natural, and expose people to truly great music. Over 60,000 patrons graced the night, and more spontaneous musical creativity occurred onstage then can be quantified. Stir Fry made it’s mark and moved on, but now the magic is being brought back for one night!
