Event Description

Matt Stern is hitting Canada’s West Coast with his infectious, soulful sound. He kicks things off with an opening show at Canoe Brew Pub in Victoria, BC on April 28th, 2018 followed by a road tour to promote his album, Magic.

Hailing from Montreal, Amanda McCulley of Live ‘N’ Loud Magazine describes Matt as “one of the city’s most dynamic up-and-coming musicians...the searing honesty and intimacy in his songwriting establish a direction that will be extremely exciting for Canadian music.” Toula Foscolos of CJAD radio says, “Matt Stern has the talent, the voice and the playful audacity to ensure we’ll be talking about him for a while to come.” Matt’s single Chance to Live was recently featured on Radio-Canada International for its celebration of body positivity and cultural diversity.

Matt has made a name for himself as a respected solo artist and was just nominated for an Independent Music Award. He has toured internationally with Japanese musicians BE THE VOICE, as well as in Eastern Canada and Europe. This summer, he will be taking to the road on the West Coast of North America, collaborating with various fantastic musicians along the way.
