Event Description

The Ministry of Casual Living is delighted to be now accepting submissions for our Small Works Exhibition and Sale 2022 taking place Dec 3rd and 4th and will be up for the Dec 10th Open Studio Tour.
Deadline for submissions is November 20th 12AM.

Accepting 2D and 3D submissions
Limit of seven submissions per artist
Price of art to be capped at $100
Works no larger than 12"x12"
MoCL commission on sold pieces 10%

Please email small.works.moc[email protected] with the following information to start the process!

Introduce yourself! include a short bio
Please attach a photo of each work you are intending to submit (up to seven submissions)
Please include the following information for every piece submitted:
1. File Name
2. Title
3. Medium
4. Size
5. Price
Example: Miller01, Starry Nights, Oil, 11x11, $50

If you have a social media or website, please include this information in your email so we can promote you!

Please drop off your art at The Ministry of Casual Living at the 750 Fairfield entrance on the following dates during the following times:

November 21 12pm-5pm
November 22 12pm-5pm
November 24 5pm-7pm
November 26 12pm-5pm
November 27 12pm-5pm

If you are creating new art for the Small Works show and haven't completed the work by November 20th, please indicate that in your email and a short description of your intended submission and choose a drop off date that works for you, We are flexible!

List an Event in the Calendar

List a Physical Single Date or Recurring Event

For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.

List an Online Livestream Event

For online / livestream events. This will allow you to include a livestream url and have it featured in our livestream listings.

List an Ongoing Event

For events that run over a range of consecutive dates. i.e. Art show, museum show etc.

Submit a Profile to the Directory

List an Individual Artist / Artisan / Musician

(Painter, Carver, Dancer, Writer etc)

List an Arts Ensemble

(Band / Choir /Dance Troupe, Theatre Troupe, Artist Collective etc.)

List an Organization / Resource in the Directory

(organization, business, venue etc)

Submit Art

Submit a piece of Art

Add a photo / information on art by a local artist

Submit Public Art (Current)

Submit a piece of local public art to the gallery & map.

Submit Public Art (Historical)

Add a photos + info on pieces of public art that no longer exist to be included in the permanent public archive.

News + Media

Post an Opportunity

Add / Link a Video

Add a video, which will be linked to profiles, and appear in the video feed

Add / Link an Article

Add, or link to an article about content in the directory.
