Ground Zero Printmakers present their Annual December Open House Art Exhibition Saturday December 9, 12-5 pm. This year's Open House features hand pulled original prints by artist members. This popular and well-attended yearly event provides the community with an opportunity to purchase unique limited edition prints directly from the artists.
The Artist’s Portfolio is this year’s theme. Artists will explain printmaking with a traditional printing press. Limited edition prints will be for sale. The Open House is an opportunity to meet the artists of Ground Zero Printmakers, and view their print portfolios in a unique heritage studio space.
Ground Zero Printmakers Society is located in the heart of Victoria's Chinatown heritage district. It is the longest running printmaking society in Victoria and has been providing instruction and exhibition space for more than three decades.
The studio provides artists with facilities for etching, intaglio, relief, small water-based silkscreen, and related mediums. GZPS has a library focusing on printmaking and related subjects, an archive of studio prints, and members’ original prints available for view and purchase.
