Event Description

This is the first year that Madrona Gallery has been asked to take part in the print collection. We are honoured to be a part of such a historically important body of work. This year there are 34 prints by 11 artists. This includes 7 final works by the iconic Kenojuak Ashevak. Her passing earlier in 2013 marked the end of an era for Inuit art. She was the most famous and last remaining member of the original group of artists that worked with James Houston to establish the Co-op and the international reputation of the print collection. There are a number of new artists in this years collection that all present a unique voice for art in the north.

The collection is available for preview in the gallery. You may also request a digital catalog with prices via email.
Works available for sale at 9 AM Friday October 18th.

For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.

Submit a piece of local public art to the gallery & map.

Submit Public Art (Historical)

Add a photos + info on pieces of public art that no longer exist to be included in the permanent public archive.
