L-R Ross Damude, Ken Sherwood, Glenn Parfitt and Nev Gibson.
A history of the Victoria, British Columbia Canada contemporary music scene from 1864 -1999
Our mission statement:
To archive and preserve the names of all the contemporary bands and musicians, venues and promoters, artists and technicians, who contributed to the development of the now internationally known Greater Victoria musical community and to pay tribute to their respective works of art and accomplishments.
The Royal City Music project has, and will continue to re-unite old friends, restore memories, end animosities and etch our history in stone.
With the world around us changing so rapidly, we have to hold on to the things that gave us so much joy & happiness.
This site was created by Glenn Parfitt, a third generation Victorian who leaves this project as a legacy to the many people who have influenced his career in music.
