Cory Hall

I began painting acrylic on canvas on the 4th of December, 2016. Completing a painting a day for a stretch of one hundred days in row. I paint with no rules - no boundaries for content, never having a plan. And I strive to finish my paintings in one sitting (Which does not always happen). I believe that this "no rules" approach allows me to create from the inner-most places of my mind, as well as the reflection of my life experiences. I have managed to achieve my first goal of 100 paintings in 100 days. I am short of words for the reasons or motivation to create art, as it was a random idea that I had while sitting in my home. So far I have learned that the creative process is full of emotion and waves of euphoria. The ideas are endless and the possibilities infinite. I have no previous experience with Art or the like. All I know is that I paint things, and enjoy each moment of the process.
