Amber Downie-Back an interdisciplinary dance artist and media assistant for Turn Out Radio. She has performed professionally in festivals such as Le Festival TransAmériques. She has published writing in the Dance Current and she is a certified Level 2 teacher of Conditioning-with-Imagery for Dance. Amber's projects explore dance in a collaborative context with other media such as music, film, and video art. Her works examine the reflections of natural spaces in the digital world. She is interested in creating transformative experiences that are at once intimate, communal, and atmospheric. She is currently living and working as a continually learning uninvited guest on the unceded Coast Salish Territories traditionally belonging to the Lekwungen Peoples and is the home of the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ Nations.
