Against The Rocks

There is something magnificent about a stormy ocean crushing against the rocks. The foamy roar of the sea revolving the layers of inner sand, bringing the deeps ends to the surface. Dancing frantically like trying to touch every crease of everything. The tones on this painting are all different shades of jade. Nature’s way to bring change. The edge in between calm and war between the water, pressure, and land.
The focus of this composition is centred in the collapsing of these two elements. Waves that scream Zeus’s threats. And all along even though in the middle of the combat through the strongest of storms, there is unity. The sea still caresses the shore only this time its fingers are passionate instead of tender.
