Support Victoria Male Voice Choir
The Victoria Male Voice Choir is a long standing non-audition choir for men in the Victoria community since 1979 with roots that go back to the early 1900’s. We have been delighting audiences with our very diverse choral repertoire.
We are currently under the direction of Alan Whitmore joining us for our 2017-2018 season starting in September. This year, we not only sing at least 6 concerts in care homes, we have two main community concerts. Our Christmas concert, entitled “December Is” is on Saturday December 2, at Cordova Bay United Church and our year- end concert, entitled “Our World Through Music” is on Saturday June 3, also at Cordova Bay United Church.
A departure from the traditional male choir, our repertoire embraces a wide range of musical styles, including spirituals, classical, Broadway, folk, rock and modern – high-brow to no brow. We are an amateur choir that offers participation and training in the vocal arts.
Why do we sing? Simply for the joy of singing! The choir gets together to practise and perform through our shared love of music. One of the choir’s greatest joys is sharing our music while performing and connecting with our audiences through song.
The Victoria Male Voice Choir Association is the not-for-profit organization (with Registered Charity status) that oversees the Victoria Male Voice Choir. We invite you join with our other supporters such as CJ Building, Crate Expectations, and build a connection with our choir and audience as a sponsor or donor.
An outline of Donor and Sponsorship information is available for review on the attached page. If you or your business can help us please contact us at
