Martin Luther King: A Call to Conscience
Film & Discussion about Dr. King's anti-war views
The film takes an insight into Dr. King’s anti-war views deconstructing his most important but least known speech Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break the Silence. It puts Dr. King’s legacy into a contemporary context, particularly in light of the Standing Rock nonviolent protest, The Black Lives Matter movement and the resistance to the wars in the Middle East. The film includes rare archival footage and interviews. All welcome! A must see!
