Event Description

Apna Virsa Victoria Cultural Association (AVVCA) is excited to announce that registration is now open for our women’s BhangraFit classes beginning on September 19th and September 21st!

Classes will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings between 7:00 – 8:00 pm at Saanich Commonwealth Place (4636 Elk Lake Drive). Monday classes will be held in the Pacific Dogwood Room and Wednesdays in the Cedar Room. Both dance studios are located on the main floor at Saanich Commonwealth Place. Classes will be based on a drop-in rate by donation (minimum $5.00 suggested). 100% of the proceeds will go towards supporting our children/youth classes.

Our classes are taught by a talented trio of bhangra instructors and are suited for those with little to no experience. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. We will be combining traditional Indian folk dance with contemporary Bhangra moves to provide you with a fun, full body workout! Every class also includes a warm up and cool down stretches. So bring a water bottle, bring your friends, and bring a smile!
