Event Description

The Maritime Museum of British Columbia is proud to feature original works by renowned maritime artist John Horton as part of our Summer of Discovery!

These paintings capture in vivid detail Captain Vancouver's journey of exploration and discovery along the West Coast, as well as the ill-fated Franklin Expedition, and are sure to captivate landlubber and veteran seafarer alike!

The Museum is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM at our new location at 634 Humboldt Street, across from the Empress Hotel.
