CALL FOR ENTRIES
Township Community Arts Council presents “Sculpture Splash, An Art Extravaganza by the Sea ”, a two-day outdoor arts and cultural event at Macaulay Point Park in Esquimalt, BC. Sculpture Splash will transform our coastal walkway for one weekend into a seaside open-air dimensional art gallery.
We invite and encourage artists to enter; Take your vision, discipline and materials (stone, metal, glass, wood, textiles or man-made) to create sculptures for temporary installation, display and exhibition within the natural environment at Macaulay Point Park.
All original 3-dimensional, functional or sculptural work in any form, size, or material may be submitted by artists for entry to Sculpture Splash.
Collaborative works may be submitted, but must be clearly defined as such, prior to receiving entry approval.
The rugged terrain and natural beauty of Macaulay Point Park acts as a dimension of each sculpture; various locations are available to accommodate sculptures of all sizes and forms.

Considerations before submitting a sculpture for entry:
Ease of transportation, safe installation, and display;
Perspective within our natural West Coast environment, visibility, resiliency, and your sculpture’s ability to withstand sun, strong wind, rain, and salt spray; and
The relationship between your sculpture and our vibrant community, our past, present and future, and the people who will visit and view the sculptures and demonstrations.
