Call to Artists! Until... issue 2: Tender

The Victoria Arts Council is now accepting submissions for the second issue of UNTIL... magazine – a new online journal featuring visual art, poetry, performance, and more!

The theme of our second issue is tender. Tender can mean vulnerability and pain, but also healing and warmth. To stay tender is to protect our wounds while embracing new growths and developments. That is what we are doing here amidst all the resent loss and changes. What does being tender mean to you? How do we protect ourselves without losing the warmth of our social connections? Do you think we should stay tender in a time like this?

All submissions should be work created recently, or relating to the theme of “tender.” Performance works can be submitted in video format. Visual art can be submitted as photo/video documentation. Please include a short bio (one sentence) and artist statement (max 50 words). Submissions will be reviewed by Victoria Arts Council staff and selected to be published in the second issue of UNTIL, to be released on 29 April.

A small honorarium will be provided to the selected artists.
