Call For Artists: Artsy Bird Cards (ABC) project

Do you love birds? Love nature?

Interested 2D artists are invited to select a bird from our list of 50 local birds, create a realistic impression of said bird, and submit a high res photo of the artwork by e-mail to us by 1 April. These images will be used on the one side of bird flashcards whose reverse side will contain all the relevant information to confirm ID, as well as interesting nature facts related to the bird (these are being compiled by a separate group of people from local non-profit, the Rocky Point Bird Observatory).

These cards will be used by individuals, school groups, nature groups, art groups and anyone, young or old, interested in birds and/ or art. ABC sets will be available for purchase 24 May 2020. Launch party details to follow!
