TURN THAT GOWN UPSIDE DOWN!
Do you have gorgeous evening wear sitting in your wardrobe that you adore but no longer wear. We spend so much money on clothing in our culture and so much goes unworn and is eventually given or thrown away. The holiday season is approaching and rather than hit the shops, what about working with something you already have?!
During this workshop we will look at each of your garments and talk through the options to determine what might be possible before you get cutting and sewing! There will be a mixture of hand-sewing and machine sewing for each project. We will have the machines set up for you and will assist wherever we can!
Cost includes the use of machines, tools, buttons, trimmings & fabrics from the studio.
Note: You need to bring pieces from your own wardrobe to work on. Bring a few options, you might not get through them all - but it's better to have more options than less to work with.
Group size is a maximum of 8 so please book your place early to avoid disappointment!
